Over 500 KS2 and KS3 students from as far away as Warrington got the chance to experience studying at the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge with a selection of lectures and workshops held as part of the Cambridge Festival.

̽��ֱ�� ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge aims to support hundreds of UK state school students through their A-levels with enhanced learning, encouragement and mentoring as part of a pilot widening participation initiative.

̽��ֱ��Vice-Chancellor marked the start of the new academic year this morning by giving his annual address to the ̽��ֱ�� in the Senate House.

̽��ֱ�� ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge is working with partners across East Anglia to raise teenage aspirations in a region brimming with untapped potential.

This summer more than 500 teenagers from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds will have stayed at the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge to learn more about what it’s like to study at one of its 31 Colleges. They’ll come from all corners of the UK, keen to find ways of achieving their dream of becoming an undergraduate at one of the world’s leading academic institutions.

̽��ֱ�� ̽��ֱ�� is sponsoring Target Oxbridge, a free programme which aims to increase successful undergraduate applications from black students. 

From January 2017, East Anglia’s five Higher Education Institutions, working in close partnership with the region’s Further Education Colleges and other stakeholders, will start to deliver a major Government-funded collaborative outreach programme, the Network for East Anglian Collaborative Outreach (NEACO).

Underground Mathematics is the culmination of a five-year project funded by the Government’s Department for Education and delivered by Cambridge’s Faculty of Mathematics.
