This summer more than 500 teenagers from under-represented and disadvantaged backgrounds will have stayed at the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge to learn more about what it’s like to study at one of its 31 Colleges. They’ll come from all corners of the UK, keen to find ways of achieving their dream of becoming an undergraduate at one of the world’s leading academic institutions.

̽��ֱ�� ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge Primary School is celebrating after receiving its first OFSTED report. Inspectors found the school outstanding in all the performance categories. ̽��ֱ��school, which has been open for three years at Eddington, on the edge of Cambridge, is the first ̽��ֱ�� Training Primary School in the UK.

Figures released by the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge show another rise in the number of state-educated Home students being accepted on to a course of study. ̽��ֱ��number, for the 2017 admissions cycle, has increased to 64.1% (up from 62.5% in the 2016 cycle). This is the highest level since comparable records began more than 30 years ago.
