̽»¨Ö±²¥2023 Collaboration Awards goes to UK Citizens' Jury on Human Embryo Editing, led by Professor Anna Middleton, Director Kavli Centre for Ethics, Science, and the Public.

Speaking at the Senate House, Professor Deborah Prentice marked the start of the academic year by delivering her first October address to the ̽»¨Ö±²¥.

Professor Deborah Prentice was formally admitted to the office of Vice-Chancellor yesterday afternoon.

A delegation, led by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dr Anthony Freeling, was at Buckingham Palace on Thursday, 9 March to deliver a Loyal Address to HM the King.

̽»¨Ö±²¥acting Vice-Chancellor of the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ of Cambridge, Dr Anthony Freeling, has been outlining his vision for the next nine months in the traditional Annual Address at the Senate House. Dr Freeling has taken over from Professor Stephen Toope and will lead the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ until the new Vice-Chancellor takes office.

Professor Deborah Prentice, the Provost of Princeton ̽»¨Ö±²¥, has been formally appointed as the next Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge.

Universities need international partnerships to advance knowledge, but they must also be alert to the risks involved. So says Professor Stephen J Toope, Vice-Chancellor of the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ of Cambridge and host of the League of European Research Universities’ autumn online Rectors’ Assembly.

Academics from across the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ have been recognised in this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Research Impact and Engagement Awards for their research into improving management of maternity emergencies during COVID-19, helping rural communities in India become agriculturally more sustainable and aiding the Government’s real-time COVID-19 monitoring.

On 20 September 2021 Professor Stephen J Toope notified the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ Council of his decision to complete his term as the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ of Cambridge’s Vice-Chancellor at the end of September 2022, after five years in office.

Academics, students and professional members of staff from across the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ have been recognised in this year’s Vice-Chancellor’s Research Impact and Engagement Awards for their work in areas including COVID-19 testing, PPE production and online engagement.
