Every year, 200,000 young people participate in access initiatives run by the ̽��ֱ�� and the Colleges. This programme includes a wide range of opportunities specifically designed to inspire young women and to foster greater participation in certain areas of Higher Education and work.

A couple who met at Downing as undergraduates are supporting their College’s outreach work in the South West of England. 

A group of intrepid fifteen-year-olds recently visited the ̽��ֱ��’s Centre for Mathematical Sciences as part of a high-octane HE getaway.

120 fifteen-year-olds from schools across the UK recently took over a chemistry lab at Cambridge to conduct university level experiments and explore their interest in the subject. 

“My Cambridge,” one of the ̽��ֱ��’s series of films promoting the unique features of undergraduate life at the collegiate ̽��ֱ��, has won two IVCA Bronze Awards.

6th form students from Rotherham and Preston helped the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge celebrate its HE+ outreach project growing to 5000 participants.

A team of local talent from Jesus College, Cambridge has returned to Tyne and Wear for a two-week tour designed to help encourage North East students to aim high in their university choices.

Sixth-formers from schools across the country were welcomed to the Faculty for a one-day visit designed to give a taste of studying at Cambridge as well as an introduction to Education as an academic discipline.

̽��ֱ��Vellacott History Prize, the Kelvin Science Prize and the Thomas Campion English Prize are open for entries until the end of March.

Director of the Office for Fair Access to Higher Education (OFFA) Professor Les Ebdon, yesterday visited Lucy Cavendish College, part of the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge, and the only women's college in Europe for students aged twenty-one and over.
