Professor Henrietta L Moore to receive honorary degree.
Professor Henrietta L Moore, William Wyse Chair of Social Anthropology, is to be recognised for her outstanding services to the social sciences.
探花直播Fellow of Jesus College will be awarded an honorary Doctor of Social Science (DSSc) degree from Queen鈥檚 探花直播 Belfast.
Queen鈥檚 awards honorary degrees to individuals who have achieved high distinction or given significant service in one or more fields of public or professional life, and who serve as ambassadors for the 探花直播 and Northern Ireland around the world.
Professor Moore will receive her award alongside several other notable individuals, including the Nobel Prize winning physicist Peter Higgs, singer Katie Melua, Irish rugby player Brian O鈥橠riscoll and the Irish businessman Dermot Desmond.
探花直播graduation ceremony will take place on 3 July.
