A new Regius Professor of Physic at the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ of Cambridge has been approved by Her Majesty ̽»¨Ö±²¥Queen to succeed Professor Sir Patrick Sissons who will retire on 30 September 2012.

Six members of the ̽»¨Ö±²¥ have been recognised in the Queen’s New Year Honours list.
