Cambridge researchers are devising new methods to keep sensitive information out of the hands of hackers. They launched the UK’s first ‘unhackable’ network – made safe by the “laws of physics” – in 2018. 

̽��ֱ��UK’s first quantum network was launched today in Cambridge, enabling ‘unhackable’ communications, made secure by the laws of physics, between three sites around the city. 

Today (7 October), international law scholar and university leader Professor Stephen Toope was appointed as the next Vice-Chancellor of the ̽��ֱ�� of Cambridge. Professor Toope will take over from Professor Sir Leszek Borysiewicz on 1 October 2017.
