A concert to raise money for the tsunami appeal will take place tomorrow evening in King鈥檚 College Chapel.

All the money raised at the concert will support specific rehabilitation projects in the Indian Ocean basin, in particular educational and medical initiatives. A significant proportion from the proceeds of this concert will be directed to affected African communities, especially East India and Sri Lanka, two of the poorest regions affected by the disaster.

探花直播concert will be performed by the Cambridge 探花直播 Musical Society and will bring together all four ensembles. 探花直播Society, which has the Vice-Chancellor Professor Alison Richard as its patron, has 450 performing members: two symphony orchestras, including the highly acclaimed CUMS I, a wind ensemble and chorus. 探花直播programme, which can be found below, will be conducted by two of Cambridge鈥檚 most distinguished conductors: Stephen Cleobury, Director of Music at King鈥檚 College and Conductor of CUMS and Tim Brown, chairman of CUMS and Director of Music at Clare College. Harry Blake, one of the CUMS student conductors, will appear alongside them.
