Speaking volumes - 600 years of Cambridge 探花直播 Library is a new exhibition which celebrates the long history of one of the world's greatest libraries. Images and artefacts tell the story of the Library's growth, from its medieval origins as three rooms in the Old Schools to its current home on the western edge of Cambridge.

Now containing more than seven million volumes, the library continues to grow daily, adding two miles of new accessions to its 100 miles of shelving every year. 探花直播exhibition explores the remarkable diversity of the Library's collections - medieval Latin manuscripts, children's books, maps and electronic documents.

探花直播exhibition also explores the story of the people who make the library an international centre for research: the custodians who acquired and maintained the library's collections over the centuries and the scholars who have come to read, to think and to write.

探花直播exhibition runs from 8 October 2002 - 15 March 2003 at the Cambridge 探花直播 Library Exhibition Centre. 探花直播exhibition is open from 9am - 6pm Monday to Friday and 9pm - 4.30pm on Saturdays. Admission is free.
