̽»¨Ö±²¥event ‘Improvisation: Anyone can do it’ will begin at 7.30pm at ̽»¨Ö±²¥Auditorium, Robinson College, Cambridge.

Mullarkey has made numerous television appearances, a handful of these being; ‘Have I Got News For You’, ‘Whose Line is it Anyway’ and ‘QI’.

Working with some of the biggest names in comedy, such as Nick Hancock, Mike Myers and Eddie Izzard has helped him develop a performance career in theatre, television, cinema and radio.

Mullarkey studied Economics, Social and Political Sciences at Cambridge and was President of the Footlights, an amateur theatrical club run by students.

̽»¨Ö±²¥Cambridge Footlights has aired the talents of some of the foremost British comedians and actors of this century.

Also a founder member of ̽»¨Ö±²¥Comedy Store Players, he still regularly performs at ̽»¨Ö±²¥Comedy Store in London.

This one off event will allow participants to develop their improvisation skills with the help and experience of this renowned performer.

According to Neil, improvisation is about improving your communication skills and being more creative and absolutely anyone can give it a go.

He said: ‘ ̽»¨Ö±²¥improvisation mindset is about listening, building on the contribution of others, and being confident in uncertain situations whether this is to perform on stage or just throughout your day to day life.’

Neil is currently developing a TV comedy show and will shortly begin writing a book about improvisation and how applicable it is to business and life.
