探花直播Sedgwick Museum of Geology, Fitzwilliam Museum, Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, Whipple Museum of the History of Science, and the Zoology Museum were awarded funding ranging from 拢59,000 to 拢108,000. Projects the funding will be used for include an e-learning site for the Whipple Museum and an accessible online collections database for the Fitzwilliam Museum.
探花直播Designation Challenge Fund was set up by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport in 1999 in recognition that these outstanding collections need caring for and interpreting to ensure that they are enjoyed by our future generations. 探花直播core aims of the Fund are to promote excellence and raise standards of museum provision and to enable those with Designated Collections to provide high quality services, which deliver the fullest possible access to their collections. To date, around 拢25 million has been awarded since 1999 to support museums with Designated collections in recognition of their outstanding importance.
