探花直播discussions are taking place as part of the British International Studies Association's (BISA) 32nd annual conference, held from Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 December at Robinson College. 探花直播event is being hosted by the 探花直播's Centre of International Studies.
Amongst the other topics being considered are liberalisation and the Middle East, the future of international law, the consequences of the war in Kosovo, nuclear non-proliferation, and relations between the West and Iran.
Christopher Hill, Professor of International Relations, said, 鈥 探花直播BISA annual conference is the most important gathering of International Relations specialists outside the US. It has grown from a mere 50 participants in the 1970s to 500 today. 探花直播Cambridge conference has set a record for the number of people attending.鈥

On Tuesday 18, Paul Rogers, Professor of Peace Studies at the 探花直播 of Bradford, will be launching his new book 鈥淲hy We're Losing the War on Terror鈥.
BISA will also present its annual awards on Tuesday 18 December at a dinner at Churchill College. Awards are available for the best UK PhD thesis on international relations and for the best article in the Review of International Studies, a major journal published by the Institute. Both carry cash prizes.
BISA was founded in 1975 as an independent academic organisation to promote the study of international relations through teaching, research and scholarly contact.
It is the professional association for academics in the field, though it welcomes students, and currently has over 900 members. In addition to the UK, many members come from North America, Europe and the Commonwealth. It has links with many similar institutions overseas.
In addition to the Review of International Studies, BISA also publishes Cambridge Studies in International Relations, in collaboration with Cambridge 探花直播 Press. 探花直播book series now includes over 60 titles.
