200 of Hereford and Worcester's brightest Sixth Form students braved the snow to team up with Cambridge 探花直播 at the launch of a new HE+ consortium in their region.

探花直播HE+ scheme has great promise in bringing together Herefordshire鈥檚 brightest students and encourages you to challenge yourselves and each other.

A new collaborative project called HE+ has been developed by the 探花直播 of Cambridge and is being piloted by consortiums in several parts of the UK, including听Herefordshire听and west Worcestershire.

探花直播HE+ project enables students, who have the academic potential, to take part in extension classes,听masterclasses听and workshops at Hereford Sixth Form College and at Christ鈥檚 College, Cambridge.

Despite the difficult听travelling听conditions almost 200 students from across the two counties made it to the HE+ launch at Hereford Sixth Form College, which took place on听28th听January 2013.

There was real excitement amongst the students and even more so when Paula听Stirling, Director of Admissions, Christ鈥檚 College Cambridge, was beamed through live on screen to directly address them saying, 鈥 探花直播HE+ scheme has great promise in bringing together听Herefordshire鈥檚听brightest students and encourages you to challenge yourselves and each other. My Christ鈥檚 College colleagues and I are looking forward to working with you and your teachers over the next year.鈥
