探花直播Museums, Libraries and Archives Council (MLA) recognised the Churchill Archives as one of 38 collections in libraries and archives across England having outstanding national and international importance under the Designation Scheme.

MLA is the national development agency for museums, libraries and archives, advising the government on policy and priorities for the sector. MLA's roles are to provide strategic leadership, to act as a powerful advocate, to develop capacity and to promote innovation and change. 探花直播Designation Scheme aims to identify and celebrate the best museum, library and archive collections in England; those that are deemed to be of outstanding national and international importance. 探花直播Scheme recognises that organisations with Designated collections care for a significant part of England's cultural heritage.

Churchill Archives Centre, based at Churchill College at the 探花直播 of Cambridge, is home to the papers of Sir Winston Churchill and to over 570 collections of personal papers and archives documenting the history of the Churchill era and after.

探花直播Churchill Archives Centre was purpose-built in 1973 to house Sir Winston Churchill's Papers - some 3000 boxes of letters and documents ranging from his first childhood letters, via his great war-time speeches, to the writings which earned him the Nobel Prize for Literature. They form an incomparable documentary treasure trove.

探花直播Churchill Archives Centre is open from Monday to Friday, 9 am-5 pm. It is closed at weekends and on public holidays.
