Aspiring entrepreneurs have returned to the Judge Business School to receive their 鈥欌楥ertificates in Enterprise' from the organisers of the popular Enterprise Tuesday programme.

During a presentation ceremony Professor Arnoud De Meyer, Director of Judge Business School and Dr Shai Vyakarnam, Director of the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL) handed out the certificates to 30 people who had completed the demanding 2006/07 programme.

Enterprise Tuesday is a free evening programme managed by the Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (CfEL), open to students and staff of the 探花直播 of Cambridge, other Universities and members of the local hi-tech business community.

Designed to inspire participants to pursue their entrepreneurial ambition, the course introduces them to world of business and allows them to gain experience from already successful entrepreneurs.

One participant to receive an award, Dele Ogunjumelo, started up his own successful business, Niche Mobile Creations Ltd, after commuting from Manchester to Cambridge every Tuesday to attend the sessions.

His business, which aims to develop mobile applications for niche markets, recently won an award at a local business plan competition held in Manchester.

鈥淚 have attended Enterprise Tuesday sessions since 2004 to gain entrepreneurial skills as I have always desired to start my own company, 鈥渉e said. 鈥淓nterprise Tuesday has been very useful and beneficial. 探花直播best thing about the programme was the chance to hear from and speak to real entrepreneurs.鈥

Over 2000 people attended Enterprise Tuesday from October 2006 to March 2007.

探花直播rich diversity of Enterprise Tuesday attendees was reflected in the recipients of this year's award, with awardees coming from a range of disciplines including Maths, Engineering and Land Economy. Representatives were also present from a variety of businesses including Sports Alliance Ltd and the Intel Corporation.

鈥淲e are especially please that there has been so much interest and enthusiasm in the Certificate,鈥 said Frances Bycroft, Enterprise Tuesday Project Manager. 鈥淭his is only the second year that the programme has been run and the number of participants is gradually increasing. We have been really impressed with the quality of submissions this year.鈥
