探花直播Institute was opened as a joint venture between the 探花直播, the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the National Health Service (NHS). 探花直播aim was for the IPH to become a centre for research and teaching in epidemiology, public health, biostatistics and primary care medicine.

探花直播IPH has established a dynamic partnership between the 探花直播, the MRC and the regional NHS. Research has spanned many aspects of public health and science, from the prevention and diagnosis of disease, studying natural selection and tracking health data across the region. 探花直播staff at the IPH also contribute to the education and training of medical students, and of postgraduates who work in the field of Public Health.

探花直播IPH collaborates widely within the Clinical School and with health services in Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire and is involved in large-scale studies of disease in the general population. In recent years, many of the studies have involved the use of genetic and biochemical markers.
