Alison Traub is currently Campaign Director for the ̽��ֱ�� of Virginia’s $3 billion campaign and Associate Vice-President for Development there.

She will join Cambridge on the back of the 800th Anniversary Campaign which was the first university fundraising drive outside the USA to raise more than £1 billion.

An international appointment reflecting the university’s formidable global reputation and performance, the Executive Director of Development and Alumni Relations will carry forward the philanthropic agenda to the next stage. This follows the recent decision by the ̽��ֱ�� to increase substantially its investment in development and alumni relations, including making preparations with the Colleges for the next Collegiate Cambridge Campaign.

Reporting directly to the Vice-Chancellor, Traub will work closely with senior ̽��ֱ�� and College academic and administrative leadership, staff and alumni.

̽��ֱ��Cambridge ̽��ֱ�� Development and Alumni Relations Office has the responsibility for building lifelong relationships with the ̽��ֱ��’s alumni body as a whole, for raising major philanthropic gifts from alumni and non-alumni sources; and for communicating persuasively with all audiences to satisfy these objectives.��

It works collaboratively with all members of collegiate Cambridge including the 31 colleges.
