鈥業nvisible impairments鈥 can make it difficult for stroke survivors to maintain a job, according to a study from the 探花直播 of Cambridge and Queen Mary 探花直播 of London (QMUL). 探花直播findings, published today in the journal BMJ Open, suggest that more needs to be done to make survivors, their GPs and employers aware of the difficulties that they may face.

Poor access to GP surgeries could be driving patients to use out-of-hours services and putting an extra burden on the NHS, according to researchers at the Cambridge Centre for Health Services Research. In research published today, they say that improving access could lead to an 11% reduction in the use of out-of-hours primary care services.
